Our games, which are currently in development, will help kids gain confidence with reading and spelling while they're having fun. They’re appropriate both at home and at school, for ages four and up. Because the games are customizable, they can be as complex or as simple as you want.
If you'd like to be notified when they are ready send email to games.
PhotoCross is a twist on the familiar Sunday morning crossword puzzle; the clues are photographs or graphic art. The images are stored in a folder which YOU select, allowing you to change the photographs and pictures whenever you want. Start with simple images, and work up to more complex visual cues, to gradually stretch your child’s vocabulary. Or focus on a particular area—family, classmates, friends, pets—and then switch to another genre…favorite foods, numbers, zoo animals, or toys, for example. The choice is yours. There are five sizes of puzzles available.
MazeWord generates word finder puzzles using a list of words that you provide. As with PhotoCross, you can customize MazeWord for your child’s particular skill level, and gradually make the game more challenging. Your child can solve the puzzles onscreen. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the puzzles into a graphics program, and print them for use by lots of kids on paper, or distribute them to other networked computers. There are five levels of play. You can choose to use words backwards as well as forwards, and on the diagonal as well as horizontally and vertically.
